Position

Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent you will provide coaching and mentoring to the reliability engineering team. You will also be responsible for the delivery of engineering capabilities to foster and promote continuous improvement in safety, environment, cost and production outcomes.

Responsibilities;
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the reliability engineering team
  • Analyse performance data, downtime records, incidents etc
  • RCA, FMEA and RCM
  • Provide training, development coaching to maintenance teams
  • Experience with section budget and cost controls
  • Ensuring safety practices are adhered to
Skills and experience;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
  • Longwall mining equipment experience
  • Safety first attitude
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills
  • Good communication and written skills
  • CMMS, preferably ellipse experience
  • Supervisory experience
