Our client has successfully provided engineering and construction services to the Mineral Processing Industry for over 25 years. They employ a team of experienced metallurgists, engineers and draftspeople which enables them to offer a complete process and engineering service. From metallurgical testing through to scoping and definitive feasibility studies as well as detailed engineering design to project construction and commissioning.
Due to continual growth and the award of new projects they require a Senior Design Draftsperson to work in their Perth office.

They are seeking a self-motivated individual to add to their highly experienced technical team to carry through the commitment of adding value through innovation and knowledge, delivering practical results required by the client and most importantly on time and to budget.

The role:

To provide general support for facilities, process and capital projects, including but not limited to field measuring, converting and verifying existing as-built drawings, new design drawings, 3D model design and layouts and support documentation  while being compliant to document control requirements and Australian Standards.


Experience:

• A minimum of 5 year’s previous experience in a similar role, specifically in the resources industry as a Minerals Plant Designer
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as part of the drafting team
• Demonstrated ability to work to strict deadlines, exceptional time management skills required
• Strong personal attributes including confidence, diplomacy and teamwork
• Ability to Teach and Mentor Junior Draftspersons

Qualifications:

• Diploma of Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• Desired competent in use of; Solid Edge, Solidworks, Inventor, Pro E, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
• Field measurement experience
