This is a superb opportunity for a skilled Mining Engineer to expand their technical knowledge and experience in a broad and varied role across mine production, design & planning for a complex, structurally controlled deposit with multiple satellite ore bodies.

Role

Operating on an attractive 8/6 FIFO roster out of Brisbane (other locations negotiable) and residing in 1st class accommodation while on site, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient extraction of ore, specifically: -  

• Short-Long Term Mine Planning & Scheduling
• UG Stope & Development designs
• Assisting with Ventilation & Paste Fill activities
• Drill & Blast designs and operations supervision
• Project work as required

Requirements

• Degree qualifications in Mining Engineering
• 2+ years experience in underground metalliferous mining
• 3D mine planning & design software skills
• Strong communication skills & safety awareness

Remuneration
  
Salaries will be in the vicinity of $120k - $140k + super and will be commensurate with experience.  Salaries outside this range will be considered for exceptional candidates.
