This is a leadership role, coordinating the exploration department and you will have the opportunity to design, plan and implement an aggressive exploration program aimed at targeting additional resources and identifying further surrounding prospects.  

 
Responsibilities:  - 
 

• Program design, management and budgeting
• Supervise diamond & RC drilling
• Ensuring data integrity, validation and QA/QC 
• Reporting all geological and project information
• Geological data interpretation, review and target generation
• Supervision and training of geological team / field staff

 
 
Requirements:  -  
 

• BSc (Geology) or equivalent
• 7-12+ years exploration experience (ideally in gold or base metals)
• Strong leadership and technical skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

 
  
The salary on offer will be in the vicinity of $135k - $155k + super.  Salaries outside this range will be considered for exceptional candidates.
