Mine Planner (Mineral Mining)

• $ 60,000 -75,000 Per Annum CTC
• To efficiently design the mine to ensure optimal operations in order to meet production plan.

Formal Education

• B.Sc./B.Tech. Mining

Experience 

• At 5-7 Years experience in a mining environment with preference to experience in Minerals Mining environment.
• At least 1 year in a Supervisory/Leadership position

Main Outputs and Responsibilities for This Position – (Please provide a short description under each heading/output)

Promotes a safe work environment by:

• Monitoring and ensuring compliance to the company Health, Safety and Environment Management manual and relevant legislation.
• Conduct weekly safety inspections
• Continually reinforcing safe work practices
• Responsible for mine design and planning by:
• Reviewing mine plan on a quarterly basis and amending forecasts as required
• Monitoring monthly production performance against the mine plan and take corrective action as required
• Developing daily/weekly production performance for the mining and production operations
• Assisting in the development of the production plan for the entire operation
• Defining  plant operating strategies in order to meet recovery and quality targets
• Defining the standards and process operating procedures throughout the WCP, supporting their implementation and monitoring compliance by staff to these standards and procedures.

Developing data and information capturing systems and processes throughout the plant, the timely delivery of this information to the relevant personnel in the organisation and the evaluation and interpretation of this data to deliver the following:

• Status of production performance and health of the production processes
• Trends and analysis of production output and equipment performance
• Identified opportunities for process improvement
• Plans for the delivery of process improvement
• Providing timely input of information into the Mining capital and operating budget
