OH&S Superintendent

Our client, an ASX listed company, is developing a world-class base metals operation in Queensland. They seek an experienced OH&S Superintendent to join their team.

Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant Queensland mining legislation
  • Development and maintenance of the operation’s health and safety program
  • Management of the health, safety and training department and its personnel
  • Leadership over document controls, site risk register and incident investigations
The preferred candidate will possess:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or above
  • Advanced Diploma in OH&S or similar
  • A practical understanding of injury management and work cover requirements
  • A background in trades or mining operations (highly advantageous)
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive remuneration package as well as newly-constructed subsidised housing and other significant benefits to be discussed.
