Piping Engineer

We are currently looking for a Piping Engineer working out of Darwin. The position will be working on pipe repair and pressure vessel experience.

Job Description 
  • Deliver discipline specific engineering services that meet WorleyParsons, its clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform engineering assignments on projects that meet project requirements on time and within budget.
  • Perform discipline specific engineering services such as:
  • identify and report changes to project scope;
  • assist with the preparation of project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and proposals and schedules;
  • contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions;
  • assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports;
  • provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders.
  • Provide technical support and assistance within the discipline team and liaise with the project team.
  • If required, assist and support junior personnel within the discipline team.
  • Communicate effectively with the discipline team and project stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships within WorleyParsons, with its clients and other stakeholders.
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance if required.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in the discipline.
Job Requirements 
Ideally, the engineer should have a mixture of pipe repair combined with pressure vessel experience.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering

Position would suit:
  • Mechanical Engineer II with hydrocarbon or mining experience
  • Piping Engineer II with hydrocarbon or mining experience
  • Senior Mechanical Engineer with hydrocarbon or mining experience
  • Senior Piping Engineer with hydrocarbon or mining experience.
