Our client is a leader in engineering & infrastructure services to the Mining, Oil & Gas, Transport & Power industries. With over 21 000 staff worldwide and a significant amount of projects on hand, they continue to deliver productive solutions to its clients & customers.

Recently been awarded a $3 billion contract for a major WA Iron Ore contract, they now require an Asset Manager to join the site based team.

Role:
You main objective on site will be to control and manage the fleet of heavy mining & plant equipment assets. This will include; return on funds employed, utlisation, age, repair costs, maintenance, equipment disposal/replacement strategies and management of the divison in order to meet budget requirements. 

Requirements:

• A track record as an Asset Manager with a strong background within the mining industry
• A solid background within heavy mining & plant equipment assets associated to the mining construction sector
• Previous site experience essential
• Excellent communication skills & planning capabilities
• Solid reporting skills and leadership capabilities

FIFO roster of 8 days on & 6 days off, Permanent staff position & Pilbara location
