One of the world's leading OEM companies in Power Generation products with an excellent track record for product innovation and quality. Now seeking Project Mechanical Engineer – Power Generation, duel role Office – Brisbane / FIFO Mines
You will be working closely within a small team of experts overseeing planning, organising, securing, managing, leading, and controlling resources to achieve specific on site FIFO Projects i.e. managing contractors to Servicing/ Maintenance / shutdowns/Overhauling of Power Generators/ Turbines/ Transformers within a FIFO mine environment
When not on site you will be based out of their Brisbane office planning the next project in hand strategising cost effective & most efficient ways to deliver the best possible outcome for each varied project to their clients
Maintain client relationships and assist clients in the maintenance, upgrading and service of their existing OEM equipment.
Assist in development of new business opportunities for a broad range of equipment and services such as turbines, generators, transformers and other products supplied by overseas affiliate companies
Follow up with suppliers to ensure speedy response and prompt service is provided.
Coordinate contracts for equipment supply, installation, maintenance including on-site management and coordination as required.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering
- Up to 5 years experience in industry.
Other Requirements:
Please note one thing the role/s also involve site work as well as office work, so candidate(s) needs to be willing to travel to sites for 2 to 3 month periods working 6 days per week (normally travel home a few times during such period for a couple of days). Such on site work may be 2 or 3 times per year. Base salary plus Overtime is paid at attractive rates on offer.
