Career opportunity to join a professional team were you will be responsible for producing stope designs, weekly schedules and monitoring production progress. This position will be Reporting to the Senior Production Engineer.


Key responsibilities:


Drill and blast designs, including:


Stoping
Service holes – electrical and services reticulation, pumping & drainage
Develop and maintain weekly schedules
Monitor the execution and effectiveness of designs and progress against weekly schedules
Maintain drill and blast databases

To be successful in this position you will have :
A primary focus to health, safety and environment
Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
A Minimum of 2 years underground experience
Demonstrated experience in mine planning and design of longhole drilling
Proven experience with decline and long hole mining methods
Experience in the use of mining software (Vulcan and EPS would be advantageous)
Strong written and verbal communications.
