Section 13 Boilermaker

A multi-disciplined international mining contracting company is seeking the services of a qualified, experienced Boilermaker, with experience in an underground mining environment.

South deep

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric Certificate
  • Boilermaker Trade Certificate
  • Onsetters Certificate
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Medically fit
  • MUST be a SECTION 13 Boilermaker! 

Minimum Experience Required:

  • More than 3 years experience as a Boilermaker in an underground mine
  • Construction and erection of structures and infrastructures
  • Equipment installation, repair and maintenance
  • Understanding of work procedures

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Health & safety
  • Maintenance and inspections
  • Breakdown response
  • Installation and erection of equipment
  • Spares monitoring
  • Reporting to the Engineering Foreman
