Junior Mining Engineer

About the Job
  • Our client, specializing in the mining industry, is currently looking for a Junior Mining Engineer to join their team.
  • This position is located in Northern, Québec.
  • Performs the development of short and long range mine plans
  • Coordinates economic studies of mining methods and equipment utilization
  • Liaises with mine operations department to integrate mine plans with operations activities
  • Analyze costs and identifies cost reduction opportunities
  • Generates monthly, quarterly and annual reports on engineering sections performance and on mine performance
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor of Engineering with specialization in mining engineering or related field
  • 2 to 5 years relevant experience
  • Previous experience with mine planning software;
