Sales Representative

Position Summary:

• Responsible for promoting the sale of construction materials in the Colorado Springs/Pueblo area market and cultivating new customers that accept [Company] as their "Supplier of Choice". Develop and sustain a business strategy designed to gain or protect market share. Provide technical service to [Company] customers, lead the Marketing and Sales efforts and monitor quality and performance of the products within the territory.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years of experience in the construction materials industry
• Excellent customer service skills; strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and able to balance shifting priorities to meet deadlines; strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Possess a general knowledge of construction and A & C products and a solid understanding of market, competition and business opportunities
• Proficient with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
