Fitter

My Welshpool based manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Fitter to join their team ASAP.


The Role:
This is a hands-on working role in which you will be doing Welding & Fabrication. The successful applicant will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the companies fixed plant equipment. You will have a strong OH&S focus and basic computer skills. A strong level of commitment to the company and your work will see you in a long term fulfilling role.
  
The Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will not only possess strong welding and fabrication skills and experience, but also a very strong work ethic. Other essentials for this role include:

• Full Driving licence and own transport
• Exposure to or understanding of milling equipment
• Experience in preventative maintenance of equipment
• Applicable qualifications
• Well organised with exceptional time management skills
• Strong OH&S awareness
• Helpful 'can-do' attitude
• Ability to ensure paperwork is completed accurately and on time
• Basic computer skills (Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite)
• Boiler experience desirable
• Strong Welding and Fabrication experience                        

Hours and Salary:  
Standard working hours are 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday, with some overtime as and when required. A generous salary will be negotiated based on experience.
