Due to continuing growth a global EPCM now requires a Commissioning Manager to assist in the development of this huge mining project which is currently in the construction phase. With multiple projects within this clients portfolio there could be a chance to work overseas.
General duties and responsibilities will be to:
Be able to identify the requirements for engineering input into procurement and construction contract packages.
Oversee the quality of the engineering deliverables.
Be able to ensure the implementation of the project engineering procedures.
Liaise with engineering and technical personnel to ensure project goals are met.
Development and approval of load commissioning plans and procedures
Manage the completion of performance and acceptance tests where required
Co-ordinate the provision of Operations resources to the pre-commissioning and commissioning effort
Preparing and issuing weekly / monthly Progress Reports
Participate in site quality audits of the contractors and quality systems

To be considered:
Tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalent discipline
A high level of technical accuracy and experience
Excellent team involvement, mentoring, coordination and communication skills
Minimum 15 years relevant experience
proven track record at management level within large scale project commissioning
