Group Mining Engineer

This successful WA gold miner has a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Mining Engineer to step up to Group Mining Engineer level and build and lead the Open Pit Technical Services function from their West Perth office. As Group Mining Engineer yours is a pivotal role, providing high level technical input and leadership to both existing operations and to potential projects. You will be responsible for supporting each open pit site’s technical services team with your expertise, carrying out studies for new and expansion projects, providing key input into pit optimisation and long term planning and mentoring technical staff.
 
You are an extensively experienced Mining Engineer with a high level of expertise in open pit mining operations. You have complete proficiency in a number of mining softwares, and are a real expert in mine planning, design and scheduling. You are a natural leader, able to support and build a talented team and guide a number of operations to technical excellence.
