Senior Project Planner

Due to the award of a new project that includes the construction of a new water treatment plant in the Perth hill consisting of a new pump station at the Weir and interconnecting pipework. As the Senior Project Planner you will start your career with this organisation by taking responsibility for the overall co-ordination of the construction process.


Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Liaising with and obtaining information from contractors, site superintendents and area managers for updating and reporting purposes
  • Resourcing the loading of project schedules, leveling and analysis 
  • Preparing regular status reports and forecasts for project management and client review
  • Preparing revised contract programs and schedules
Experience working for a global Contractor or EPCM will be highly regarded as is experience in using the various Project Management software tools, especially Primavera P6.

Required Competencies and Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years + hands on industry experience in planning and scheduling and creation of a master schedule in EPCM design or construction environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to produce and revise resource loaded schedules
  • Experience and ability to use nominated planning and spreadsheet software (Primavera P6)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Program
  • Demonstrative knowledge of conceptual and detailed planning of small to large EPCM projects from conception to commission
  • University Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or a related discipline
