Mobile Maintenance Superintendent

About the Job
This position is for an underground gold operation. The ability to speak French is necessary. The rotation is 7 weeks in and 3 out. This position would be second in command to the maintenance manager.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop the maintenance team
  • Maintain a high level of safety and environmental standards
  • Budgeting and cost management
  • Leadership and mentoring of maintenance personnel
  • Achieve high availability of mobile mining equipment

Qualifications:
  • Fluent in French
  • Mechanical trade or Bachelor qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working in a similar position, preferably in a mining environment
  • Extensive practical experience in a mining maintenance environment
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems and generate alternative solutions
