About the Job
 
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
  • Piping Engineering design on a mining project
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Piping hydraulic system calculations including line sizing and pressure drops
  • Slurry pump sizing
  • Slurry launder sizing
  • Update piping material specifications
  • Update P&IDs to match system requirements, piping specifications, and vendor information
  • Adhere to project  budget  and schedules
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduation in Mechanical Engineering
  • More than 5 years piping engineering experience on mining or heavy industry projects.
  • P. Eng
  • Must demonstrate strong technical skills and apply them effectively.
  • North American experience is preferred.
