Principal Geotechnical Design Engineer

Salary: £40000 - £45000
Region: North West

We are urgently recruiting an experienced Geotechnical Design Engineer with a minimum of 8 years experience to work for a market leading Multi Disciplinary consultancy to be based near Manchester.

It is essential you have extensive experience undertaking geotechnical design requirements for projects in various engineering disciplines. It will be advantageous if you possess a CSCS card and PTS and is vital you have a full UK driving licence as you may be required to travel to various sites.

You will have a degree in Civil Engineering or relevant subject and further possess an MSc/MEng in geotechnical engineering and be a member of a professional body.

Typical duties:
• Design of foundations, retaining walls, site investigations
• Slope stability analysis
• Management of junior engineers
• Project costing

This role comes with a very competitive salary and benefits to suit.
