With a focus on the mining industry, this role will head up a new division and be responsible for developing marketshare and providing taylored solutions back to industry. Building a team along the way, this role will also report to the GM and will be accountable for the reporting of progress at the highest level. Working with new technology that will enable maximisation of metal recovery and guide decisions in exploration, mining, mineral processing and metal refining.


A technical expert after years of working as a Plant Metallurgist or similar and progressing to the management level, this person will enjoy a challenge and a diversified role. An influential presenter and respected industry player you will be comfortable liaising with senior management, as well as being able to operate at the client interface for specific issues and subsequent technique development.


Essential background requirements include; 

• Technical engineering degree in metallurgy or mineral processing.
• Extensive experience in a technical, scientific or specialised field related to mineral processing, and process control.
• Knowledge of advanced technologies and diagnostics as well as operational optimisation experience of analytical equipment; specifically electron/ion microscopes and other analytical techniques.  
• Business development experience, specifically selling technology to customers (e.g. to a Plant manager)
• Demonstrated project management skills
• A committed, enthusiastic and motivated leadership style
• Able to travel domestically and internationally
• A strong client focus
