HSE Advisor

A joint venture between two recognisable names and market leaders in the industry. A $multimillion valued project, where there is a real focus on cultural change in attitudes towards safety.

About the Role:

Working on a 3:1 rota, you'll be part of a friendly focused team dedicated to maintaining a safe environment. Through building relationships, and gaining a real understanding of your colleague's mentality you'll strive to improve the general attitudes in safety

Your duties will include:

·         Assisting in developing an emergency response plan

·         Roll out the SMS, encouraging a positive attitude

·         Performing onsite training to ensure a proactive approach to safety risks

·         Conducting site safety audits, identifying risks and maintaining site registers

·         Facilitating investigations and provide advise on corrective action

·         Providing advice to managers and staff in line with regional and national standards and

·         Weekly and monthly safety reporting.


Key Skills and Requirements:

To be considered for this position you will:

·         Be suitably qualified, with a certificate, degree or diploma in OH&S

·         Have at least 3 years experience within the OH&S discipline working on site

·         Posses the ability to engage with all levels of staff

·         Have a positive and enthusiastic approach
