[Company] is seeking a Training Program Analyst in the Aggregates Academy.  The location of this position is San Diego, CA.

The Training Program Analyst in the Aggregates Academy will be a significant contributor to the development of the global Aggregates Academy, a central pillar of [Company]  shift towards a continuous improvement culture in the Aggregates product line. Reporting directly to the Director-Aggregates Academy, the Program Analyst will participate in the development of global training material, along with scheduling and logistics of training sessions, data analysis and management of administration and communications for the Academy. Key communications will include liaison with internal and external stake holders and customers including; senior business line managers, vendors, external alliance partners, training participants and trainers.

Our companies produce a broad range of building materials, including cement, aggregates (crushed rock, sand and gravel), ready mixed and precast concrete, asphalt, concrete pipes, pavers, tiles and clay bricks.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Meetings and visits with internal and external specialist during training material development
  • Assisting the Director and others in coordinating and scheduling training events in multiple international locations
  • Visiting aggregate production sites to develop new training materials and during training events
  • Interaction with global internal customers and stake holders in managing Academy administration and communication
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the Academy website
  • Data recording and analysis of training feedback
  • Coordination and development of new training material
  • Revision and version control for existing training material
  • Development of web based training material
  • Program evaluation and analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or HR related field or equivalent
  • Five years relevant experience of which at least two years working in the aggregates product line, specifically the aggregates production process or related business functions.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and influence
  • Ability to interact effectively at multiple levels of the organization, experience in event management a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word (web design experience is a plus)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% with occasional need for international travel
  • Willingness to work flexible hours in order to coordinate effectively with international locations
  • Willingness to work regularly in an industrial environment
