Job Summary
- Plan, schedule and control inventories and availability of production materials and components necessary to support the timely manufacture, assembly and shipment of product need to satisfy customer requirements and desired inventory levels for the Focus Factory.
Qualifications
- Previous SAP 6 experience required
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to operate, efficiently, a personal computer, printer, calculator, fax and copy machine.
- Ability to work well with all levels of employees.
- Requires good interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
- Four year degree in business or related field, APICS participation desired (certification is the desired goal) and Three - Five years’ experience in related field in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Controls the movement of materials through the focus factory, maintain records of perpetual inventory and location information; controls and directs the flow of materials in and out of storage locations; maintains record accuracy through the performance and administration of a cycle counting routines and location verification.
- Develops performance measurements and parameters as relate to inventory regulation, product throughput, planning priorities, cost controls, housekeeping and safety measures and quality conformance.
- Plans and schedules incoming supplies and materials as required to support the focus factory.
- Prepares the required reports, charts and graphs and other measurement information. Collects data and inputs information into detailed reports and planning systems.
- Keeps records and control documents to support factory measurements and procedures.
