Project Manager - Mining

Our client is a leading contractor with a focus on open pit mining in WA. A fiscally sound business that has a good reputation with its clients as it continues to win more business off the back of completed successful contracts. 

Key Responsibilities:
The following opportunity includes and is not limited to the following
Supervision and management of all mining and construction including 

• Mining Department, Drill & Blast, Maintenance Department, Technical Services Department HSE 
• Department, Training Department, Site Administration Department and other departments 
• Quarry Managers responsibilities 
• Mentoring, training and development of all staff employees. 
• Incident Investigation and co-ordination of works with the client, preparation and reports 
• Dealing with contractual issues, variations and over viewing daily reports 
• Presenting to senior management 

Key Requirements:
The successful candidate will ideally have the following: 

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role 
• WA Quarry managers ticket 
• Exposure to a contractor environment 

Ideally hold a mining related degree or equivalent i.e. Engineering, Metallurgy or Geology
