Our client is a leading international Engineering consultancy with an excellent reputation in providing effective and productive solutions to the resources industry. With strong success in meeting clients expectations, this global consultancy continues to prosper.

Currently involved in a major Gold project in South America and a significant Iron Ore project in West Africa and many more to follow they now require a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join the Perth team.

Role:
You will be responsible for leading a team of Engineers across a variety of major projects. You will provide design expertise and knowledge across these projects. You will be liaising with clients and ensure all engineering tasks are meeting agreed budgets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Preferably 10 to 15 years plus experience in senior Mechanical Engineering positions
• Extensive mining project experience and EPCM experience a strong advantage
• Previous design experience is essential and experience within materials handling, minerals processing projects a key requirement
• Previous experience in supervising and mentoring teams
• Good client and time management capabilities
• Excellent reporting skills and decision making capabilities
