About the Company: Being one of the largest Construction companies operating in Western Australia this top tier commercial builder has the cotract to build mining camps for the leading exploration companies in Australia.
About the Role:
2 x Health and Safety Advisors required immediately for a permanent or contract position based in WA on a FIFO 19/9 rosta.
Flights will be paid for from Perth airport so you must live in WA or be willing to fly yourself to Perth.
You will be responsible for HSE on Rio Tinto exploration sites around in WA. You will be required to support the whole project and site staff ensuring Health and Safety maintains the key focus throughout the company and on projects. This role is a stepping stone to more senior roles across the organisation. You will implement, maintain and monitor compliance of safety systems.
Working on the Mining sites you will be responsible for ensuring all H&S regulations on site are ahered to. Responsible for the construction of the mining camps. Providing advice and support where needed.

Requirements:
The ideal candidates will possess the following:
Minimum Cert IV OSH
Tickets Required: 1 of working at heights, confined space, rigging or dogman tickets
Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role
Rio Tinto Mining Experience is essential
Must be based in WA and be able to be based in Perth office occasionally
Experience the implementation, maintenance and monitoring compliance of safety systems
Experience in managing contractor and subcontractor safety
