Senior Mine Planning Engineer

A unique opportunity to be part of this young gold mining company’s new flagship operation has become available. The mine will be going operational later this year, and the company also has a host of exciting exploration projects on the horizon and a large tenement portfolio sure to yield results.
 
This is a diverse and varied role with great scope to develop new and existing technical skills. You will implement effective planning systems and develop short and medium term mine plans, provide input into budgeting and scheduling and work with a close-knit team to ensure production runs efficiently and according to the mine plans. As the operation enters production your technical expertise will help guide it to success and ensure the best possible results.
 
You are a tertiary qualified Mining Engineer with experience in an open pit mining environment and proven ability in mine planning and scheduling. You will have a sound knowledge of Surpac and the ambition and drive to guide a start-up project from planning to successful production.
