Mechanical Engineer - Bulk Materials Handling - Coal Mining

Due to the increased amount of projects, a Mechanical Engineer role exists with a global leader in the design and installation of mining infrastructure. With offices globally this trusted EPCM gains its strength from its highly experienced team of Engineers, Drafters, Designers and Project leaders.

Joining a highly motivated and experienced team of Engineers & Designers this role will see you carrying out the design and installation of conveyers, belt feeders, stackers, reclaimers, shiploaders for Coal projects. You will review other Engineers work and lead the design team through concept to the delivery of the finished product.


Must have’s include:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Mechanical Design experience
• Power and Tension Calculation Experience for Conveyers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Coal Materials handling experience
• Planning, Forecasting and Project costing experience
• Slurry and transfer system knowledge
• RPEQ status (Ideally)
