Processing Manager

Our Client is one of Australia's newest gold entities with a vision to sustain their position as a long term mid-tier producer with multiple operational mines and an enviable resource portfolio.

They are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Processing Manager for their operation based in Western Australia

Responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure all mineral processing and associated functions are performed safely with no harm to employees or the environment 
  • Ensure delivery of all key performance indicators within agreed cost parameters 
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise to departmental staff 
  • Identification and implementation of technological and operational improvement   opportunities
Education/Skills/Experience:
  • Hold a degree in Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy or a related discipline, preferably with a post graduate business qualification 
  • Have extensive management  experience in a production environment with a strong working knowledge of mill and leach processing functions 
  • Have collaborated as an integral member of a multifunctional management team to generate maximum tonnage and gold recovery in line with forecasted expectations 
  • Have a sound understanding of legislative issues within the Australasian region that affect operations 
  • Be capable of relieving the Site General Manager
