Director - International Marketing
Our client is a highly regarded mining house who are proven, reputable and well established organisation that is dedicated to best practice. They are currently looking to employ a Marketing/Business Development professional based in Vietnam to market and sell their Rare Earths commodity primarily to Asia. Rare earths have become a very hot commodity on the world's industries with China being one of the biggest consumers.
The General Manager Marketing will report directly into the CEO will be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for the leadership and management of the marketing and sales functions. Key to your role will be driving the marketing and promotion of the organisation's rare earth commodity to ensure profitable returns and an unsurpassable market presence and reputation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in establishing goals, strategies, plans and policies and selling into the Asia market. The main duties will include:
• Identifying key players and business opportunities
• Increasing market share and obtaining a competitive position;
• Developing relationships with key executives from End Users;
• Coordination of the Company's sales and Business Development staff;
• Develop the strategies for pricing, sales, marketing, advertising and profitability of specific products for the market segment.
The successful applicant will have previous Marketing/Business Development Management experience working within the Asia mining sector. They will have the leadership, communications and teamwork skills required to grow the business. The person will possess a degree in either a commercial or technical discipline. Also, applicants must be prepared to travel extensively in the region.
