Senior Electrical Engineer

Our South Side client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team!  Turn your experience in the Mining, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and/or Utilities industries into a great career with a great company!
 
Responsibilities:
  • Be the Electrical discipline lead for materials handling/mining projects.
  • Apply practical application experience and knowledge of power systems related to mining or other industrial projects.
  • Develop proposals based on audits, studies, and recommendations, and in response to customer RFP’s.
  • Write specifications for the supply of power delivery equipment and services.
  • Utilize project management techniques and quality control measures to achieve superior financial and customer results.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience as an Electrical engineer, including 5+ years experience in engineering design, and/or project management.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Experience in Mining, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and/or Utilities.
  • Experience in developing and interpreting results from Power study software including SKM and ETAP.
  • Ability to travel to international offices.
  • Proven experience leading project teams .
  • Strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision .
  • Excellent time management skills with an attention to detail.
  • Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills .
  • A positive  attitude.
