Our client is seeking a Intermediate Piping Designer experienced in heavy oil and gas processing facility / gathering system design:

Main Duties:

• Role reports to Design / Drafting Manager
• Expected to complete complex piping designs utilizing current 3D CAD piping software within a project team environment
• Will provide independent / self-directed project support to project teams and assist in maintaining project schedules
• Will provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff
• Help develop a qualified design group while working to solve complex design issues
• Provide expertise in the preparation and development of construction design drawings for heavy oil and gas processing facilities / gathering systems
• Maintain preliminary and detailed design phases of various projects
• Manage the efficient design and execution of projects
• Provide clients with expertise in process piping design
• Participate in project design problem solving
• Experience working on $1M to $3M projects
• Ability to see a project through from start to finish

Qualifications:

• Graduation from a recognized technical institute
• Enjoy active, fast paced work environments
• Minimum ten years experience in the petroleum or petrochemical industries
• Be committed to team play while possessing effective writing and verbal communication skills
