This international gold producer has well established gold mines throughout Australia with a multitude of exciting projects in the pipeline. They therefore have superior technical and logistical knowledge in relation to effective resourcing and processing within the gold mining industry. They have an outstanding reputation in relation to their safety, performance and culture within the organisation and are now looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to join their team

Role

Reporting to the Principle Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for the delivery of mechanical engineering capabilities to foster and promote continuous improvement in safety, environment, cost and production outcomes, and provide leadership to the reliability engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and lead the mechanical and electrical reliability engineering function
• Risk management, safety improvement, preventative maintenance optimisation and project management
• Technical support to operations
• Provide training, development coaching to reliability team
• Communicate with all internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring safety practices are adhered to

Skills and experience

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree
• Extensive mining and mineral processing experience
• Safety first attitude
• Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Proven track record of implementing Reliability Best Practice
