Resource Geologist
My client is a reputable Australian consultancy practice with a presence on a national scale now have expansion plans for their office in Brisbane and are looking to recruit a Resource Geologist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly reputable and successful organization and expand your career further with the chance to work and have exposure on some prestigious projects coupled with working in a highly professional environment.
Responsibilities of the Geologist include:
Investigation of Geostatistical data.
Validating current block models.
The creation of new block models using Vulcan.
Report and proposal writing.
Studies and audits of geological data sampling methodologies.
Estimating resources.
Requirement of the Geologist include:
Degree in geology or related discipline.
At least 3 years resource modelling experience with a sound understanding in Vulcan or surpac.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced computer literacy.
Strong operational and technical experience,
Excellent geological experience.
Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia.
There is an excellent remuneration package available to the successful candidates.
