Senior Mine Surveyor

Our client is seeking a suitably qualified Senior Mining Surveyor based in one of their open cut coal mining operations in the Bowen Basin.


Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, your duties will include providing surveying services and engineering functions which include preparing monthly volume reconciliations, providing mine plans and drawings and ensuring all aspects of the project are set within the design plan.


To be successful in this role, applicants will have:
Open cut coal surveyor qualifications and experience;
Experience in Trimble GPS equipment and Vulcan surveying software;
APS operations experience;
Effective time management, planning and communications skills;
An overriding commitment to safe work practices.
