HR Superintendent

Well Established Mining company is in search for an HR Superintendent. Suitable candidate must have a National Diploma in HR Management or equivalent qualification with at least 5 years relevant experience in an employee elations and a Unionised Environment. Must have good knowledge of ER systems and CCMA rules and procedures. Candidate must be medically fit.

• Have at least 5 years relevant experience in an Employee Relations and a unionised environment
• Have knowledge of Employee Relations systems
• Have sound knowledge of Labour Law, the CCMA rules and procedures
• Have negotiation skills
• Have knowledge of Wage agreements & other Collective Agreements at Mine and Industry Level
• Have problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination

Candidate will be responsible for the follow:

• Developing and leading the Employee Relations team in all aspects of people management
• Ensuring sound employee relations
• Planning and Budgeting
• Collective bargaining
• Formulation and implementation of Employee Relations strategy
• Dispute resolution and conflict handling
• Proactively identify sources of potential conflict
• Assessing Employee Relations climate and implement interviewing strategies to enforce optimum climate.
