We are seeking a well travelled, professional and experienced Planner to work on this very large mining project worth in excess of$1Billion. This is a great opportunity to join a professional EPCM organisation and be involved with a challenging WA based project. Located in the Pilbara as part of Rail works of this large project you will develop and maintain project plans and schedules as well as forecasts and reports or managing project planning systems and procedures, executing schedule development, analysis updates and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Resource loading of project schedules, leveling and analysis and production of staffing histograms to support projects
Maintain the overall project master schedule
Prepare regular status reports and forecasts for project management and client review
Liaise with and obtain information from contractors, site superintendents and area managers for updating and reporting purposes
Assist with verification of EOT claims
Prepare revised contract programs/schedules
Monitor and verify contractor planning activities during construction

Required Competencies and Skills:
Minimum 5 years hands on industry experience in planning and scheduling in a construction environment
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to produce plans and schedules
Experience and ability to use nominated planning and spreadsheet software (Primavera P3 & P6)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Program
Great communication skills
