The key driver for this role will be to built rapport on site and maintain interface with subcontractors and client reps in relation to the Safety objective. You will be reporting to the Project Registered Mine Manager/ Appointed Construction Manager and functionally to the OSH Resource Manager, the ideal candidate will have proven site experience coupled with a strong commitment to the Safety & Health. With this role being part of various multibillion dollar projects we require you to be highly experienced and MUST be able to meet the following requirements;
Implement and maintain the Project OSHMP, procedures and Client, OS&H standards throughout the project.
Mentor and support project based safety and management team personnel with advice and direction in relation to project OS&H systems and issues.
Undertake statistical analysis and ensure all audits are conducted in accordance with the project audit schedule.
Maintain interface with contractors and client representatives regarding compliance HSE guidelines
JHA and Take 5 Auditing for Quality, task specific and compliance
Assist in identifying HSE training (and awareness) needs for the project
Coordinate and conduct training courses
Actively participate in and support Zero Incident and Injury culture
Pre-empt problems to the HSE performance and recommend strategies to overcome delay
Actively participate in and support Incident and Injury Free culture

To be considered for the positions we require:
Cert IV Occupational Health and Safety
Cert IV Training & Assessment
Accreditation in Work at Height and Confined Space Work (SRA or Safe Right).
Current working knowledge of basic rigging, dogging, scaffolding, and cranes.
Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
3-6 years minimum experience as an HSE Advisor with EPCM Mining background highly desirable
Proven understanding of current OS&H legislation.
Effective Written & Verbal communication skills
Effective time management skills
Computer Literacy
Conduct the induction of all project workforce and visitors on HSE responsibilities
Experience assisting in ensuring that relevant contractors and personnel adhere to the HSE Procedures
Interest in conducting the induction of all project workforce and visitors on HSE responsibilities
Actively participate in and support Incident and Injury Free culture
