It is not often that a truly Senior Management Role becomes available on a groundbreaking commercial construction project however WYN Recruitment is looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated individual with a proven track record in project delivery on projects valued into the hundreds of millions. Reporting to the overall Project Director this role will take responsibility for a huge portion of a $multi-million capital programme.
The main duties will include (but not be limited to):
Oversee the effective management and successful and timely completion of projects
Manage the Construction Manager's & Engineers to ensure their duties are carried out in accordance with objectives
Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and ensure agreed objectives for new work won, EBIT, safety and the environment are achieved
Management of Construction Methodologies and general documentation across the project
Assist with building existing and recommending and establishing, new relationships with key clients, consultants and partners in the region

As an ideal candidate you will need:
Tertiary qualification in engineering (preferably civil)
Experience in Bulk Earthworks projects in a confined CBD location
Provent track record of consistent delivery of projects in excess of $150million
Broad understanding of wide range of construction techniques, HS&E responsibilities and risk/contingency assessment
Broad understanding of construction and infrastructure design principles
Sound understanding of financial reports, e.g. Budgets/Forecast, and interrogation of project financial reports (Workbench)
Proven ability to lead, direct and deliver results within agreed time frames
