Our Client is a global EPCM who urgently requires a Senior Structural Marine Engineer to work on a large Port Expansion project which is offering a lucrative 12 month contract with market leading rates. Your role will be to provide competent technical support in relation to design and engineering services for marine infrastructure facilities.
With this project in the design phase, there is an urgent need for a Structural Marine Engineer to come on board and make a real impact. Working for a world renowned engineering consultancy this is your chance to be a name and not a number.
General duties and responsibilities will be: .
To be able to assist with any design alterations or design faults
Planning and Scheduling for the overall completions on structural progress of the project
Guidance and mentoring to project engineering staff
Provide input to the structural engineering budget
Ensure all structural engineering/material handling project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices
Ensure structural engineering projects are completed on time and within budget
All applicants must show a proven track record in working on marine projects and piling experience will be especially beneficial.
As an ideal candidate you will have:.
Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline (preferably Structural or Civil)
You MUST have a proven track record in marine/piling/port infrastructure projects
5 plus years experience
Feasibility experience
Leadership quality
SPACEGASS experience
