HSE Coordinator

Mastermyne is the leading provider of underground coal mining services in Australia, with a unique market position of a full suite of capabilities.  This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced HSE Coordinator to join an exciting mining project in the Emerald region.
 
Reporting to the Health, Safety Training Superintendent, you will assist with all aspects of promoting a strong safety culture across the operation. You will assist in the provision of safety advice, training, site inductions, initiatives and associated materials.
 
It is essential that you have qualifications in OHS (Diploma preferred, certificate IV minimum) and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment with a strong background in a mining or construction industry. A sound understanding of workplace safety and the relevant legislation is required, coupled with the ability to conduct a safety audits. Previous site based HSE experience is advantageous.
