Laboratory Technician

The Laboratory Technician ensures that, in the quality control system, all statutory and NATA registration requirements are met through diligent and strict adherence to those requirements.

The Laboratory Technician helps out the business by supporting the CH&PP Team by providing them with CH&PP performance data in quality terms.
  • Drivers Licence
  • Generic Induction to Surface / Underground Coal Mining
  • Proven experience in the preparation and analysis of coal samples
  • Proven experience recording calibrations in a manner consistent with NATA accreditation requirements
  • Excellent safety
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite
  • In depth understanding of maintaining and calibrating test equipment
  • Exposure to the MIMS computer system
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
