QA/QC Inspector

This specialist iron ore engineering consultancy has been engaged by a leading mining company to assist them in streamlining their iron ore projects. They are overseeing the construction of several expansion projects simultaneously and selected engineering, procurement, construction and management services for a major mining company.  They have a successful track record in delivering multi billion dollar iron ore projects and can provide you with long term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities 

• Monitor and ensure complying implementation of formal project standards and regulatory codes as appropriate to the project’s needs.
• Review Supplier/Contractor deliverables such as Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, Inspection and Testing Procedures, quality records and reports and MDR compilation in accordance with BHPBIO requirements and Scope of Works.
• Review and monitor all applicable contractor Weld Procedures and Welder Operator qualification records.
• Perform contract specific site audits on Suppliers/Contractors as directed.
• Verify that key quality performance indicators are being identified & reported to the project team.
• Coordinate quality control activities for Construction Contracts onsite works.

The following experience/skills are required for this position•Minimum 10 yrs experience with regards to Inspection in specific field required.
