Design Draftsperson All Disciplines - Expressions of Interest

This is your opportunity to work for a results-focused consultancy that provides EPCM services to the mining, minerals and energy resource sectors. Their clients include some of the largest resource companies in the world, so you can be assured there will be no shortage of interesting and challenging project work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop design and detail drawings and documents in accordance with client practice, all relevant codes, company systems, standards and procedures;
  • Preparing preliminary and detailed design drawings for engineering projects and ensuring project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works.
  • Becoming familiar with all relevant Calibre procedures;
  • Becoming familiar with all areas of the particular work package and group practices as directed by the Lead Draftsperson;
  • Expediting directions given by the Discipline Engineer and Lead Draftsperson;
  • Specific attention to be paid to Drawing numbering, cad file structure and plotting procedures
The following experience/skills are required for this position
  • Drafting diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven CAD and Microstation skills.
  • Preferable demonstrated experience in Inroads.
  • Minimum of five years experience in design for engineering projects.
