- Working under the direction of the Corporate Communications Manager, the Corporate Communication Specialist is responsible for assisting with corporate public relations and media management as well as internal corporate communications in accordance with the global Corporate Relations strategy. This position requires interaction across various departments as well as key relationship building with internal and external audiences. This role will be based out of [Company] World Headquarters in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
Tasks
- Initially, this position will focus on internal and external public relation communication planning, development, and deployment for the company’s acquisition integration team. Leader to provide corporate communication support as necessary.
Key Position Accountabilities include:
- Manage acquisition integration communication planning in alignment with the company’s global Corporate Relations strategy.
- Assist with managing corporate public relations including media management to promote and protect the [Company] brand.
- Manage the development and distribution of internal and external corporate written and verbal publications and communications according to developed strategy and timeline.
- Manage and enhance leader communication through corporate communication tools.
- Manage and develop corporate communications content on website and intranet.
- Assist with corporate content creation for [Company] executive leadership team including speeches and presentations.
- Provide direction to external resources to successfully coordinate various corporate communication collateral including brochures, videos, corporate publications, etc.
- Organize and manage press interviews for executives at trade shows or during visits to KMT locations.
- Assist with [Company] in the community outreach projects as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communication-related field, public relations or marketing preferred. (NON I.T.)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations and media management.
- The ability to think and act strategically, be flexible and adapt quickly is a must. Experience with acquisition and integration communications preferred. Experience with social media a plus and must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
