Short/ Medium Term Planning Engineer - Coal

Major Coal producer requires a Mine Planning Engineer for a residential role in Queensland region.

Reporting to the Mine Planning Manager, your duties will include:
  • Development of short to medium design and schedules for Open Pit operations
  • Collection, compilation and reporting of Monthly production.
  • Determine minable reserves
  • Assist planning team

To be successful in this role, you would: 
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in Mine Engineering
  • Have gained experience in the mining industry spanning at least 2 years. 
  • Truck & shovel, dragline, and/or drilling & blast optimisation experience is desirable.  
  • Knowledge of XPAC, Vulcan and TALPAC software is an advantage.
