To excel in this role you will posses excellent relationship building skills and have the proven ability to mentor and assist in developing the junior members of the team. As an Exploration Geologist in this organization you will be reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist and will be responsible for implementing exploration programs in a safe and efficient manner.

This role will see you:
  • Supervising the drill programs and field mapping
  • Core logging & geological interpretation
  • Data collection & management
  • Managing contractors and field staff
  • Complying with company OH&S standards
 Candidates will be able to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and show a high level of drive & motivation to achieve results.

 Essential skills, experience and qualifications required include:
  • A tertiary qualification in Geosciences with at least 5 years experience in Coal
  • Demonstrated experience working with geology software and MS Office
  • High level ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong communication and management skills with the ability to lead a team
