Rail Locomotive Fitter

We are now seeking qualified locomotive fitters to jump on board and take on an exciting new role being offered by our high profile client. Due to Hays recently developing relationships within the rail industry, several roles have become available and require an immediate start.

The position will require you to be trade qualified in diesel fitting with previous experience in locomotives as you will be performing rebuilds, services, preventative maintenance and component change outs. A current drivers license is mandatory and you must be able to pass a pre employment medical.

This exciting opportunity is a permanent position offering Perth based local work with the chance to do occasional FIFO work. This will allow you to enjoy a lifestyle friendly roster whilst being financially rewarded when doing FIFO work in regional WA. FIFO work will provide food and accommodation and penalties are included.
