Study Manager: EPCM Gold Mining

Main Purpose of the Role

• Manages on a task specific basis the delivery of best practice systems and processes in designated
• studies and consulting services, in alignment with the clients organisational objectives and client
• requirements.
• Is the prime point of contact for all communications between clients and the company relating to
• designated studies and consulting services.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Accountable to manage and direct designated Study teams to ensure profitability and reimbursibility.
• Accountable to manage the implementation of designated studies and consulting services with respect to content, presentation, communications, cost control, scheduling, internal review and audit, reporting, maintenance of study records and the overall direction and control of the work.
• Accountable to contribute to the strategic management of the organisation.
• Accountable to co-ordinate and provide the appropriate resources to designated task forces so that
• studies are completed on time, fit for purpose and according to budget and client requirements, and of high quality.
• Accountable to contribute to the establishment, development and continuous improvement of systems and practices to enable studies and consulting services to be delivered more effectively and efficiently.
• Accountable to manage the process of preparation of designated study documents to ensure quality and accuracy of information

• Contribution to the Studies Group engagement into the strategic process and "ownership" of these strategies.
• The overall contribution of designated studies and consulting services activities to Companies profitability and level of reimbursability.
• Client satisfaction as a measure of alignment with client needs.
• Ability to secure and win work, as well as repeat business.
• Quality of documentation and information provided.

HSSE Responsibilities

• Provide positive and demonstrated leadership on HSSE issues within your area of operation.
• Read, understand and implement the HSSE policies, procedures and Beyond Zero programme.
• Promote an enthusiastic HSSE culture that delivers positive commitment to and engages all employees in continuous improvement in HSSE performance.
• Monitor personnel under your area of control comply with their individual responsibilities to HSSE matters.

HR Responsibilities

• Read, understand and implement HR policies and arrangements as published on the BMS
• Read, understand and implement the companies HR Strategy, My Future and associated scorecard activities in partnership with the local HR team
• Promote within your area of operation a culture of people development, achievement, and performance
• Actively role model and promote the company values and Code of Business Conduct

Essentials:

• Qualifications Essential 

• B Eng or B Tech Degree Pr registered
• 15 years experience on process projects as Area Manager or Project Manager or Study Manager.
